The Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia (PAARA) was founded in 1994 with the assistance of the European Union TACIS Program. Its main objective is preparing public servants (to work for the President's Office, the Government, State and local self-government bodies of the executive power, etc.) and improving higher and mid-ranking public servants’ professional qualifications. The Academy offers the following Master programmes:
- Business Administration;
- Public Administration;
- E-Public Administration;
- Public Finance Management;
- Tourism Management;
- Insurance;
- Psychology of Management;
- Law;
- Political Governance and Political Analysis;
- Global Governance and Regional Policy;
- Political Journalism and PR Technologies.
PAARA also provides PhD programmes in:
- Public Law;
- Economics and Management of Economy and Its Fields;
- General Psychology, Theory and History of Psychology, Psychology of Personality;
- Political Processes and Institutions.
Beside ECBE PAARA is a corporate member of International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) and the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe – NISPAcee, as well as European Network of Training Organization for Local and Regional Authorities (ENTO).
