Darja Boršič

Darja Boršič, PhD, is Full Professor in the field of applied economics and econometrics, and Assistant Professor in the field of economic theory and political economy at University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business (UM FEB), Slovenia. She is an active researcher within Institute for Economic Diagnosis and Prognosis and a member of research programme Adjustment of the Slovenian economy and development identity of Slovenia in the EU.

Currenty, she is Head of Department for Economic Policy, FEB Senate member, UM Senate member and Editor-in-chief of Naše gospodarstvo /Our Economy journal published by UM FEB. In the period from 2011 to 2017 she had served as Vice-dean for international cooperation at UM FEB.

Besides international cooperations issues and coordination of several internationalization related projects, she had been in charge for international accreditations of study programmes dealing with annual accreditation procedures for mantaining ECBE and ACBSP accreditations, and coordinating the procedures for obtaining AACSB business accreditation.
