The Committee of Appeal (CoA)
The Committee of Appeal (CoA) decides on appeals made by Members or individuals against decisions or conduct of the BoD, the members of the BoD, the BoC, the Commissioners, the Reviewer(s), or any other committee, body or person.
Any conflict between a Member and the Agency, except for discussions and conflict regarding unpaid invoices, whether it is the BoD, the members of the BoD, the BoC, the Commissioners, the Reviewer(s), or any other committee, body or person should first be subjugated to the CoA. Members are not allowed to take further legal steps unless the conflict has been brought for appeal to the CoA, and its decision is available.
The CoA can revoke any decision fully or partly or confirm it.
Its decision should fully respect these Statutes, the Agency’s Bye-Laws and the accreditation procedures published on this website.
The CoA is comprised three members outside the BoD, the BoC, the PoR, the DoFA and the DoA and is appointed by the AGM.
The regular term of appointment lasts for three years.
Members of the CoA are elected or co-opted following the same procedure and rules as those in place for the election of the voting members of the BoD.
